EU Bulletin

EU Bulletin is an online resource from Excellis Business Consulting to disseminate information on the European Union (EU) open consultations and other pertinent developments, usually instigated by the European Commission.

EU Bulletin is intended to help stimulate and increase participation levels in EU open consultations from all stakeholders, particularly micro and SME businesses and entrepreneurs.

Excellis Business Consulting operates on an international basis, and therefore despite the ongoing changes to the UK and EU relationship, the EU bulletin service that we offer will remain relevant to all our clients, partners and business associates in Europe, UK and worldwide.

Financial services – EU regulatory framework for crypto-assets

Status: Closed

This public consultation, and the concurrent consultation on digital operational resilience, are initiatives for supporting and nurturing digital financial services in Europe. Therefore, the European Commission is proactively inviting contributions from all citizens and organisations.

Views are particularly sought from the EU Member States as well as national authorities, market participants from the crypto-asset sector (crypto-asset exchanges, trading platforms, wallet providers, users, etc.). Additionally, participation in this consultation is encouraged for the financial services sector; including financial market infrastructures such as trading venues, central securities depositaries, central counterparties, investment firms, asset managers, electronic money issuers, payment services providers, etc.

Moreover, EU businesses (start-ups, SMEs, issuers of securitie, etc.), FinTech organisations, technology experts (e.g. blockchain developers, etc.), academics and EU citizens are also encouraged to provide their input to this consultation.
