Financial services – improving resilience against cyberattacks (new rules)

This consultation is open to all organisations and citizens. Views are particularly sought from key stakeholders in
financial institutions, market infrastructures, other financial services providers and financial services operators; as well as
business associations, consumer representatives, ICT services providers consumers, financial services
and ICT services users, civil society and public authorities, which may also include EU bodies and agencies and academia.
The following four topic areas are the main focus of this consultation:
- Requirements on ICT and security risk management in the legislative acquis applicable to the financial sector
- Incident reporting requirements
- Digital operational resilience testing framework
- Oversight of ICT third party providers to the financial institutions
